PRIVACY NOTICE
In terms of the provisions of the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Private Parties ("Data Protection Law"), its Regulations and in order to guarantee the privacy, the proper use of personal information and the right to informational self-determination of the users of the website http://www.soledadcarrasco.mx ("website"), our clients, as well as the persons who, with their consent and voluntarily, have decided to share their personal data with us, we inform you of the following:
WHO ARE WE?
Soledad y Carrasco, S.C. ("SCA") will be responsible for the protection of your personal data, which includes its proper collection, processing, use, storage and disclosure. SCA may collect the following personal data: (1) full name; (2) address (place of birth and/or residence); (3) gender; (4) telephone and/or cell phone number; (5) e-mail address; (6) institution where you are studying; (7) academic average; and (8) work history.
HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OBTAINED?
SCA may obtain your personal data through the digital environment such as the web page or electronic communications that you establish with the firm, as well as through correspondence, business cards, telephone communications, filling out forms or job applications that you send us. SCA does not automatically collect data through cookies.
FOR WHAT PURPOSES WILL WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
The personal data collected by SCA will be managed and processed by SCA in accordance with the general management of the firm for the purpose of providing legal services, and will have the following primary purposes for processing: (1) to establish contact with those who request it; (2) to give attention to any request of requirement or information of the services provided as well as employment applications; (3) to process and follow up on the legal services that have been contracted with SCA; (4) to comply with the purpose and keep updated the legal relationship that has given rise to the processing of personal data; (5) to perform billing, clarification and collection follow-up tasks and (6) to send notifications regarding changes to this privacy notice.
Also, SCA may process your personal data for the following secondary purposes: (1) sending any information that SCA considers may be relevant or related to the interests of its clients and/or persons who have been contacted, as well as news, communications and/or advertising of SCA; (2) sending invitations to conferences, seminars and cultural or social events in which SCA or any of its members participate; and/or (iii) sending newsletters and communications regarding legal developments.
If you do not wish your personal data to be processed for the aforementioned secondary purposes, you may express your refusal by sending an e-mail to rene@soledadcarrasco.mx.
The personal data collected will be part of a database that will remain valid for the period that SCA considers relevant and necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. Once these purposes are concluded, your data will be blocked, cancelled and deleted in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Law.
The personal data collected by SCA will not be transferred to any third party, except in the cases established in the Data Protection Law, as well as its Regulations or any other legal order that so permits.
HOW CAN YOU ACCESS, RECTIFY OR CANCEL YOUR PERSONAL DATA OR OBJECT TO ITS USE?
You have the right to know what personal information we have about you, what we use it for and the conditions of use we give them, request the correction of your personal information in case it is outdated, inaccurate or incomplete, that we remove it from our records or databases when you consider that it is not being used properly, as well as oppose the use of your personal data for specific purposes ("ARCO rights").
In order to exercise any of the ARCO rights, you must communicate the respective request, which must contain the following: (1) full name and address to give you an answer; (2) copy of the document that proves your identity (either voter's credential, passport, driver's license, professional license, among others) or the personality of your legal representative, and in case the request is made through the legal representative, copy of the document that proves his powers as representative; (3) a brief, clear and precise description of the personal data in relation to which it seeks to exercise any of the ARCO rights; (4) any element that facilitates the location of such personal data; and (5) any other requirement established by the Data Protection Law, its Regulations and other applicable provisions. The request must be sent through an email addressed to.

SCA will respond to any complete request within a maximum period of 20 calendar days or the maximum allowed by law, in which it will indicate whether the request is appropriate and, if so, the determination will be effective within 15 calendar days from the date on which it communicates the response or the maximum allowed by law. The deadlines may be extended under the terms set forth in the applicable law. If so required, SCA will make available to the holder, electronically, the list of personal data held about him/her.
HOW CAN YOU REVOKE AND/OR LIMIT THE USE OR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
You may revoke the consent, if any, you have given us for the processing of your personal data. However, it is important to note that not in all cases we will be able to meet your request or terminate the use immediately, since it is possible that for some legal obligation we may need to continue processing your personal data. Also, you should consider that, for certain purposes, the revocation of your consent will mean that we can no longer provide the service you requested, or the conclusion of your relationship with us. Likewise, you have the right to limit the use or disclosure of your personal data for purposes that are not necessary for our legal relationship.
In both cases, you may revoke and/or limit the use or disclosure of your personal data through a request addressed to the e-mail rene@soledadcarrasco.mx, indicating such situation in order to proceed to register you in an exclusion list from which you will be given an electronic or physical record, as requested.
Will your personal data be transferred?
The personal data collected will not be given, sold, shared or transferred, except when necessary in the cases provided for in the Data Protection Law or its Regulations. However, SCA reserves the right to share your personal data with partners, associates and employees of the firm or with third parties that process your personal data on behalf of SCA and subject to this privacy notice and SCA's instructions, including companies engaged in the provision of legal services in Mexico or abroad that work jointly with SCA, notaries and public brokers or information technology companies that provide IT services to SCA.
HOW CAN YOU FIND OUT ABOUT CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE?
This privacy notice may be modified, changed or updated as a result of new legal requirements, our own needs for the products or services we offer, our privacy practices, changes in our business model, or updates to SCA's data.
However, we are committed to keep you informed of any changes to this privacy notice through postings on the website and/or e-mails to your personal address.
This privacy notice is governed by the Data Protection Law, its Regulations and other applicable laws in the United Mexican States and its acceptance implies your express submission to the courts in Mexico City, in the event of any controversy or claim arising from it.
